We had the privileged to let 2 young representatives, Ms Ridalin Kurbah and Mr Ribansing Nongbsap from 2 villages of Ribhoi District to be part of the passing the Eval4Action held by the Asia Pacific Regional Evaluation Association in collaboration with the Eval4Action, EMPower, the constellation, EvalIndigenous and Asia pacific Communication Hub (APA) to create an awareness of the importance of strengthening community ownership and to also develop individual actions by the communities and organisation for community ownership.
In the past months the torch has been collectively passed to other parts of the world and yet again it is the time to pass the torch from East and South East Asia to communities in Asia Pacific. Hence, our youths were chosen to accept the torch on behalf of the communities and were given a platform to share a brief introductory clip about the community.
Following the virtual consultation, Ms Ridalin Kurbah and Mr Ribansing Nongbsap were encouraged to become leaders. Henceforth, the two young individuals associated themselves to the organisation’s fellowship program to build leadership and work towards building community ownership.
