Case Worker CUM SOCIAL WORKER
Rosa, a young woman from the Khasi community, is passionate about educating, making contributions, and advocating for child survivors of sexual abuse. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from St. Edmund’s College and her Master of Social Work with a specialization in Medical and Psychiatry from St. Aloysius College, Mangalore.
Rosa started her career working as an ABDM operator in DHS Shillong. She then went on to work with Infinite Solution as a Field Surveyor. Presently, she is working as a Case Worker cum Social Worker at Faith Foundation. Rosa had previously volunteered at MIMHANS, where she put into practice the roles and responsibilities of a case worker. She believes this experience was a stepping stone in her career path.
As part of her responsibilities at the organization, she was appointed as a Support Person by the Child Welfare Committee to assist and support survivors during court hearings.
In her free time, Rosa enjoys sketching and singing, which provide her with a creative outlet and a means of relaxation.
