Counselor
Arkirisa is a young Khasi-Jaintia woman from Shillong. She has always had a compassion for- helping oneself and others, and Psychology has always been a subject of interest. She completed her graduation in Psychology and Counseling from Assam Don Bosco University and went on to pursue her Masters in Applied Psychology from Amity University, Kolkata, wherein she discovered that her passion lies in the Counseling branch of Psychology.
She has many hobbies, including cooking, sports and art, and is very enthusiastic about engaging herself in different activities and events. She is currently working in the organization as a Counselor, handling cases of survivors of child sexual abuse, and providing counseling to children in schools and communities that are associated with the organization. She aims to become part of a society that will break stereotypes relating to the mental wellbeing of individuals.
