Co-Founder And Executive Member
Barida Laloo is the Co-Founder of Faith Foundation. She hails from the Khasi and Jaintia tribes of Meghalaya. In addition to her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from North Eastern Hill University, she is a trained social worker with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Mangalore University. While working with North East India Drugs and AIDS Care, she developed expertise in the field of HIV/AIDS. Additionally, she has taught social work at the Women’s College of Shillong. As a child, Brigida Laloo developed a passion for working with children who are differently abled (hearing impaired). She began volunteering to work with these children when she was 16 years of age. She aims to facilitate the achievement of Faith Foundation’s goals as co-founder of the organization.
